MOXY F&B

Scope: Interior Design, Role: Senior Interior Designer, Rockwell Group.

Developer: Lightstone Group, Operator: TAO Group.

On the second floor of Moxy Chelsea, a lush 20-foot-high conservatory looks out onto the heart of New York City’s nostalgic Flower District. A multilevel green wall is anchored by opulent large scale terrazzo floors, custom designed to draw a historic Italian design connection with the Lobby level Restaurant, Feroce, which sits below. At Feroce, Venetian plaster walls and barrel vaulted ceilings transport guests to early 21st Century Rome, where the inspiration for the restaurant stems from. The culinary program is a collaboration between TAO group and a familial legacy that began in 18th century Roma, which is helmed by celeb chef & personality Francesco Panella. Nods to his classical Italian roots are strewn throughout the property, balanced with modern and playful touches that symbolize the millennial-driven Moxy brand.
